23 days Down!

I am so stinking tired of this stupid W30! BUT I do feel wonderful so maybe it's not that bad. But I really don't want to eat one more bite of cauliflower or eggs. 7 days to gooooooo!!!!!

17 down! 13 left to go!

Great days! Even out to dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings with a sea of fried appetizers (we went for happy hour when all appetizers are only $3!) i didn't touch one. I ate a blackened chicken salad that was pretty stinking good. And I didnt eat any bday cake yesterday on Jim's bday
. But thats not too hard for me  ðŸ˜ƒ

Day 15 done! YAY half way there!

I'm so happy that I've stuck with this so long! 15 more days to complete this goal! I haven't had heart burn since I started W30, I've definately lost some weight or at least feel way less bloated. I've also learned a ton of great recipes. 

The next two weeks I have to figure out my after W30 plan. It definately won't be going back to crappy food... Except day 31! 😜

10, 11, 12 & 13!!! Happy 50% done day!

I really feel really good. Some definately life food changes going on. I made my own jerkey today. We went to a diner bfast and I ate a scramble minus the cheese and potatoes. It wasn't bad and really didn't even bother me not to eat all the yums Jim had! 

I feel less bloated. Kindof deflated. Not flat, still lots to loose but I feel manageable! When I pull my pants up they don't hook on my belly! YAYAYAY. I'm not flat yet by any means but just getting better!

Oops! 7, 8 & 9

Oops! Forgot to post! All days were great with the food. I'm not really craving anything off the diet. For the most part I crave filling foods, like pot pie or creamy soups so I guess those are off the diet! :) 

I feel great though. My feet don't hurt and I don't feel so puffy! 

I can't list all my food but tonight I had meatloaf (whole 30 approved) coliflour mash and green beans. It was really good and filling!

Good day. A few struggles after working and building the deck. Normally we would go get a yum burger and fries after working. Not today! If I can make it thru today I can make it thru the next 24 days!

4!!!!!


Wowzers! I stuck to plan today but struggled a bit! Not so much food cravings but just bored already! So I did pull up some good recipes and headed to the store. 

I already feel much better. Thinking clearer, sleeping better. I went on a long walk and drank 2 liters of water. Goal tomorrow is to do the same thing! 😜

Day 3

Nice as ice! Happy to be 9% complete!! Another good day with good food. 

I went for a nice 30 min walk with piper. I my back killed me by the time I got home but good reminder why I'm doing this! 

I need to drink more water. Goal for tomorrow... More water!

Day 2


Day 2 almost complete! Another good day. I did struggle a bit with cravings for a few minutes a couple times today. But fought thru and made it!

Day 1



I feel awesome accomplishing a whole day! I haven't been hungry at all. Ate large meals full of veggies and protein.

Mad and Jim are joining the 30 days but pledging to not eat fried foods. Jim is to not eat fast food.

Reasons

I am doing Whole 30 to clear my body of all the cravings it has as well as restart my metabolism. I have been overweight about 2 years now and need to reverse it. I recently watched a documentary about how weight affects your health and something scarred more more than ever. It mentioned quick weight gain and the adverse affects it has on your body. When I quit smoking I was about 140lbs. I now weigh 212. I am not doing this for the number on the scale but to feel better. I will most likely never weigh myself again. I just want to feel better.

I currently have the below issues
sore back when walking or standing
cant bend over
cant kneel down without serious effort to get back up
hernia's in my stomach.
wheezing
snoring
low self esteem, embarrassed to see people I haven't seen for a long time.
tired all the time
don't enjoy Oregon for what it has to offer

I also drink way to much, way too often. This will help kick start my "On the Wagon" life :)

I will journal daily with what I ate and how I felt. Also a photo of my face each day... just to see what the outcome looks like.
